The basic idea of DCS is distributed control,centralized operation,hierarchical management,flexible allocation and convenient configuration.It closely rely on the automatic control technology,computer technology,communication technology and display technology,achieve the centralized monitoring of production processes and centralized management and avoid problems that conventional instrumentations have a single function,layouts are scattering and computer control systems have concentrated dangers.It has been widely used in various industries such as electricity,petroleum,chemicals,metallurgy,pharmaceuticals,and environmental protection and has achieved positive results in economy and sociaty.This paper analyzes the actual needs of a certain power plant user,using the main control system and bus technology of ABB to design the DCS system,greatly improving the reliability of power plant equipments and the automation level of entire units,and achieved good results.On the basis of deeply researching the key technologies of DCS system and the characteristics of fieldbus technology,the overall DCS design plan of this power plant was built.The acquisition and interaction of data adopted PN800 and Profibus technology,which not only realized the multi-token HIPER-Ring switching is completely non-interference.But also achieving redundant switching between Ethernet is completely non-interference;completeing the Data Acquisition System(DAS),Modulating Control System(MCS),Furnace Safety Supervision System(FSSS)Sequence Control System(SCS),Electric Control System(ECS)and auxiliary system hardware selection and scheme design.On the basis of fully studying and understanding the process flow and dynamic characteristics of the ultrasupercritical once-through boiler,the boiler control System and hearth safety monitoring system were designed.Finally,the Display Builder configuration software will be used to centrally control the process monitoring,display,alarm,historical trend,report,data storage,communication and other functions to achieve data sharing,unified and coordinated management,providing reliable bases for managers' s decisions.The DCS has undergone tests of various loads and operating conditions.The system can be put into operation continuously and steadily.Through the DCS control system,the operators can conveniently control various parameters and ensure the stable operation of the system,fully verified the reliability and stability of the control system.
