With the extensive use of energy and the pressure of climate change,countries all over the world are paying more and more attention to the recycling and sustainable use of energy.As a country of energy consumption and carbon dioxide emission,the efficient recycling of energy and carbon dioxide emissions can not be ignored.Biomass as renewable energy has great potential.Moreover,China is facing a big problem of handling large quantities of Chinese herb residues produced by Chinese medicine factories.Therefore,the recycling of biomass based on the Chinese herb residues is very necessary.At the same time,it is significant for the comprehensive evaluation of biomass recycling system based on Chinese herb residues.This thesis integrates life cycle assessment and life cycle cost,and establishes an integrated framework that includes four steps:defining a unified system boundary,collecting inventory data,integrating of assessment,and comprehensive evaluation.Based on the understanding of three subsystems(pre-treatment system,biomass gasification system and gas utilization system)of biomass gasification and recycling system,a comprehensive evaluation model is established.Based on the software of LCA-Simapro,using AHP and TOPSIS methods,the model evaluates the system in energy resource utilization,environmental load,economy and system efficiency.The evaluation model was applied to a pharmaceutical company in Shandong Province to conduct a comparative analysis of the residues gasification and recycling system and the traditional landfill system.Results show that in the aspect of energy resources utilization,Chinese herb gasification and recycling system uses more electricity,water resources,quartz sand,air and less diesel oil than the landfill system.In environmental load,the gasification and recycling system is obviously superior to the landfill system.In economy,the net benefit of the gasification and recycling system is 44817.825 yuan per day,which is obviously superior to the net cost of the landfill system of 9500 yuan per day.This case proves that the evaluation model of biomass gasification and recycling system is scientific and practical.
