Landscape Design Of University Campus Space Base On Mental Behavior Needs Of College Student

With the transformation of the physique of our country’s education,colleges and universities have expanded enrollment,setting off a wave of new and renovated campuses.The university campus space hosts a variety of outdoor activities for teachers and students,which is where they learn to relax and relax.How to combine the behavioral needs of college students with the campus space is a topic worthy of study.The paper uses the theory of environmental psychology and landscape design,through literature review,case analysis,questionnaire survey and other methods,starting from the psychological and behavioral needs of college students,the university campus space landscape design is studied.The results of the study are as follows:(1)By analyzing the psychological and behavioral needs of college students in the campus space,they conclude that their behavior in campus space is dominated by walking,staying,and leisure and entertainment.(2)Combined with the characteristics of the behavior pattern,the university campus landscape space is deeply analyzed from the perspective of satisfying the user behavior,and the university campus landscape space is divided according to different functions,scales,and forms.(3)This paper proposes specific design methods for the different requirements of the three behavior patterns in different campus spaces.When the campus space is divided into functions,it is necessary to make a clear division of space according to the three behavior patterns.The walking behavior pattern often corresponds to the traffic function;the behavior pattern of staying often occurs around the construction site with life function and education function;The venues with better landscape functions and commemorative functions are more suitable for college students’ daily leisure and entertainment behavior patterns.Clear functional areas help to improve the recognition of campus space,and users are more likely to form a sense of realm;when tactics are proposed from the perspective of the campus space,the campus spatial scale of the pedestrian model must maintain a close relationship with the surrounding buildings.The crowded areas are appropriately scaled;the campus space scale of the staying behavior model is usually suitable scale to attract people’s stay;the scale of the recreational mode is usually a large-scale space and provides sufficient space for the collective activities.In different forms of campus space,the spatial form of the traffic function corresponding to the walking behavior pattern is often determined by the architecture,and most of them are relatively complete.It is possible to distinguish between the plane shapes of the pavement and the structures that drape vertically to reduce the boring feeling.The pattern of stay behavior patterns is mainly "U" and "L",which can be shaded with hard or soft textures to form a campus space that can attract people to stay.The campus space pattern of leisure and entertainment behavior patterns is flat and vertical.The form is often more interesting,and the forms of various service facilities can be represented on the plane.Vertically,more microtopography or plant enclosures are added to form a pleasant and rich collective event space.While planning and designing the campus space landscape to meet the needs of college students’ psychological behavior,we should pay attention to creating a spirit of place and the sustainable development of the campus,leaving a certain space for the development of the campus and students.Only in this way can we build a humane university campus landscape that better meets the needs of university students,create a good campus environment and actively promote the campus spirit.Campus space can meet the users’ psychological and behavioral needs only,and it is in line with the daily behavior patterns of college students to better promote the growth of teachers and students and the development of university campuses.It is hoped that this study will provide some reference for the planning and design of university campus space landscape.
