The Old City Center Based On The Organic Renewal Theory Research On Reconstruction Design Strategy

Along with the fast development of the city in recent years,the life style of people has also changed greatly.The center of the old city has always been unable to satisfy the needs of daily life.Nowadays,all sorts of "city diseases" have appeared in China,and they are mainly concentrated in the old city areas.such as aging residential buildings,single functional industries,Lack of green nodes,traffic congestion,and lack of space vitality.As a result of its geographic position and the complexity of its inhabitants and factors,it is often difficult to renovate the old city,which has a profound impact on the city.Therefore,how to update the status quo of the old city center and make it rejuvenate has become a common concern of the society.Based on the existing problems in the old city center,and combining with the related theories of urban renewal,such as organic renewal,this paper studies the measures taken in the process of the renewal of other successful old urban areas in China,and puts forward effective solutions to urban functions,From the view of urban organic renewal,the use of space,traffic,and landscape can be used as a reference for the renewal of the old city in China.Firstly,The article expounds the necessity and the aim of the renewal of the old urban center,and sums up the domestic and foreign related studies on the urban renewal.The second part is to define the range of the old urban center,and explain the related theory of urban renewal,and explain the organic renewal theory.Then,we research the famous renewal cases of the old city in China.The research cases were Wangjiang District of Hangzhou,West Lake District in southern Nanjing,and Hefei’s Huaihe Road Pedestrian Street District.Through the field research on the renewal cases,the methods and strategies adopted in the process of renewal were classified and summarized.Then,on the basis of the Organic Renewal Theory and the former case and theory research,the author makes a conclusion,the specific strategies of urban organic renewal in terms of architectural style,transportation,industry,green space,Suggestions are made on the activities of residents and cultural heritage.In the end,the paper designs and applies the strategy of organic renewal of the old urban center.Taking Sanxiaokou District in Hefei City as an example,this paper analyses the status quo of Hefei Old City and its existing problems,the objectives and principles of renewal are pointed out,and the district is designed for renewal and reconstruction.Through the study of this thesis,I hope it will be helpful to the renovation and reconstruction of the old city center in China,apply the organic renewal idea to the renewal of the old city center,enhance the theory study on the renewal and reconstruction of the old urban center,and realize the high quality and sustainable development of the old city center.Figure [78] table [37] reference [64]...
