Public transport can ease the traffic congestion and pollution problems as well.At present,the main public transport is fixed line bus.However,in some suburban areas or new urban areas with low demand density,this traditional bus cannot meet the travel demand efficiently.With the arrive of internet of things and traffic big data,flex-route transit can make up these problems well.The flex-route transit is a new mode of public transport,which can meet the door-to-door travel demands as many as possible.However,the researches on the flex-route transit still stay on the theoretical stage,and the conducting for the fare of the flex-route transit is few.Based on the analysis of the user effect analysis,with the goal of maximizing the profit of company,fare setting model of flex-route transit is set up.Then this research puts forward a fare strategy,which is used to guide the extension and application of flex-route transit system.Firstly,this research analyzes the operational characteristics of the flex-route transit system systematically,sums up the necessity of fare formulation,analyzes the influencing factors of fare setting qualitatively,and proposes the fare setting objectives.Based on the data obtained from SP questionnaire survey,the characteristics of the passengers and their travel choice behavior are analyzed.In addition,based on Multi-Logit discrete choice theory,the transit demand analysis model is established.The model regression result shows that the travel time,travel consumption and other attributes which affect the results of the mode selection,and then the value coefficients of the time attributes is obtained according to the parameter calibration results.Then,this research proposes a fare structure model based on Manhattan distance and passenger service quality.Combined with the parameter calibration results of Multiple Logit models,based on the analysis of passenger demand,the fare setting model aims at maximizing the operating income of public transportation companies,where operating income refers to fare income minus operating dynamic costs.To get the best fare level,the model is solved by grid search algorithm.Finally,in order to improve the accept rate of flex-route transit system and the accept rate of passenger simultaneously,this research focus on strategy formulation for the dynamic fare.And the influence of the operation of Flex-route transit system is analyzed.A heuristic insertion algorithm is used to simulate the model and analyze the influence mechanism of dynamic fare strategy on system operation benefit.
