| Between energy structure adjustment and stricter environmental policies in China,the priority is to reduce pollution and find a solution for the serious haze.China has been using coal as primary fuel for industry and electricity,the use of coal produced large amount of sulfide and soot,which is the main cause of acid rain and haze.New energies such as solar power,tidal power,drew a lot of attention of the society and investors,but years of research still couldn’t replace coal’s position.Looking for a clean replacement of coal is a main direction by now.Gas turbine is high efficient,low emission,and excellent at peaking performance,which made it widely used in developed countries,but it is still in startup in china.A certain area has a growing economy and population,so power demand increases fast,but under huge environmental pressure and the priority of pollution reduction.So,this area took a lead in constructing an all gas turbine generator power gird,and because of this area located in the north of China,which there are heat and environmental demands so the power plants are all build in combined cycle.This thesis introduced the development of combined cycle power plants in China by the energy structure adjustment demand and domestic status.The certain area power grid has a distinctive supply and demand characteristic,after investigation and analysis,heat supply is first demand during winter,high peaking pressure during summer and suitable shut down schedule during spring and autumn.All these characteristics made a lot of restrictions for combined cycle power plants,which makes the economic efficiency hard to guarantee.So,this thesis selected a certain power plant in this area and collected actual operation data,to analyze the operation cost then establish an operation economy efficiency model.Through further analyze,it was found out that heat first operation mode during winter resulted in the waste of electricity,which effects comprehensive utilization of resource,long-term of low average load rate in summer decreases the efficiency of gas turbine,which effects the operation economy efficiency of the power plant.In conclusion,reduce of operation time,low load rate,high maintenance cost of the power plant results in low economy efficiency.The balance of load rate and operation time,and with avoiding frequent change of operation mode,which may guarantee economy efficiency and sustainable development of the power plant.Combined cycle units have a huge potential in China.With the experience and results of this area,it is better to choose wider heat-power ratio,and good variable working condition gas turbine units,also should consider matching heavy units with light units for better peaking performance,when constructing new combined cycle power plants in the north of China.The goal is to build combined cycle power plants which are much more flexible during operation and control. |
