Characteristic town is an important means to practice the strategy of rural revitalization,speed up the process of urbanization and promote regional economic development.The development of cultural and tourism characteristic towns in Xi’an has made some achievements,but at the same time,there are also problems in the construction of the same type of cultural and tourism towns,resulting in serious homogenization of the town’s culture and space;at the same time,rough development and construction and blind pursuit of economic benefits,resulting in serious damage to the ecological environment and huge waste of resources,seriously hindering the development of cultural and tourism characteristic towns in Xi’an.The purpose of this study is to make a real-time evaluation of the built environment of Xi’an culture and tourism characteristic town through the evaluation and research of the built environment of Xi’an culture and tourism characteristic town,find out the problems existing in the development and construction of the town,provide strategic basis for the design improvement of the town,realize the virtuous cycle of "design implementation use evaluation design",and develop the culture and tourism characteristic town of Xi’an Exhibition construction is of great significance.The main process of this study is divided into three stages: preparation stage,implementation stage and feedback stage.In the preparation stage,take the built environment of Xi’an Cultural and tourism characteristic town as the research object,conduct a lot of exploration and research,and summarize the problems of Xi’an Cultural and tourism characteristic town.Using the theory and method of post use evaluation of built-up environment,this paper constructs the set of built-up environment evaluation indexes from five aspects: human environment,traffic function,spatial image,public service facilities and overall environment.The weight of evaluation index is determined by using AHP and user importance evaluation.In the implementation stage,in strict accordance with the theory of post use evaluation of built environment and the classification of cultural and tourism towns in Xi’an,three typical cases of Bailuyuan film and Television City,Zhouzhi Water Street eco-tourism town and Fucha town are selected for in-depth and comprehensive investigation,including basic information,satisfaction evaluation,etc.through qualitative and quantitative analysis,the post use evaluation results of built environment of the town are obtained.In the feedback stage,based on the analysis of the evaluation results,the optimization design promotion strategies of cultural characteristics,overall environment,architectural space,square space,street space,landscape system and infrastructure are obtained,which will provide reference for the design of Xi’an characteristic town of culture and tourism in the future.
