In recent years,cutter suction dredger has the advantages of strong adaptability,good efficiency,and easy large-scale,which is widely used in the dredging projects.Cutter head is an important part of cutter suction dredger and it is also one of the main working parts of cutter suction dredger.The work of cutter suction dredger is the process of combing soil cutting and mud inhaled by suction mouth,one part of the soil cut by cutter head is inhaled by suction mouth,the rest spreads to the basin around cutter head,which will cause secondary pollution of the basin around cutter head and the change of dredger production.With the national emphasis on the environmental protection,how to control the size of contaminated area on the premise of guaranteeing the sediment yield is an urgent problem to be solved,the flow field analysis can provide good methods to solve this problem.The analysis of cutter head flow field can analyze the scope of soil pollution on surrounding water and soil productivity under different working conditions,which provides useful data for dredger working parameters setting.The main contents and results of this paper are as follows:(1)According to related cutter design theory,reasonably setting the parameters of cutter head and creating contour equation of cutter blade arm.In Solid Works software,the cutter is drawn in three dimensional,which determines the spatial structure of the cutter head.Motor and mud suction pipe math the cutter head through formula counting;(2)In CFX,material parameters and boundary conditions are set reasonably to analyze cutter head rotation speed and suction mouth pressure’s influence on cutter flow field.The change of cutter head rotation speed and suction mouth pressure affect cutter head velocity field and pressure field respectively.Affected area as one of flow field analysis targets,the change of cutter head rotation speed affects it obviously and the change of suction mouth pressure affects it is unobvious.The velocity of suction mouth increases with the increase of suction pressure and cutter head rotation speed;(3)Sediment particle distribution and sediment yields are analyzed in different cutter head rotation speed and suction mouth pressure.Results show that the change of cutter head rotation speed obviously affects sediment particle distribution,however,the change of suction mouth pressure doesn’t affects sediment particle distribution obviously.Sediment diffusion range reduces with the increase of cutter head rotation speed and reduces with the increase of suction mouth pressure.Suction mouth Sediment concentration reduces with the increase of suction mouth pressure and cutter head rotation speed.Summarizing calculation methods of sediment yields and related factors,sediment yields is analyzed in different cutter head rotation speed and suction mouth pressure.From the perspective of environmental production and yield improvement,the best combination mode of working parameters is determined.
