With the development of intelligent substation and unattended mode to promote,the importance of substation auxiliary system becomes more and more important.At present,there is not a uniform communication protocol in the substation auxiliary system,and the protocol of different manufacturers is not the same,which makes it difficult to realize the integration of multi system and the overall management of the substation.IEC 61850 standard is the international standard for substation automation system,it unified and standardized the substation equipment model and the means of communication,which provided technical support for the inter operation of the equipment.Therefore,it is an effective way to solve the integration and interoperability of the system by applying the IEC 61850 standard to the substation auxiliary system.This paper focus on the work of the IEC 61850 standard applied to substation auxiliary system,including the following:(1)The current situation of research and application of IEC 61850 standard and substation auxiliary system was analyzed.The architecture of IEC 61850 standard was introduced,and the standard hierarchical structure design,oriented object modeling technology and function and communication decoupling characteristics was in-depth analyzed.At last,the expansion of the standard second edition was analyzed and summarized.(2)Based on the analysis of the communication function of substation auxiliary system,the information model of substation auxiliary system was constructed by using IEC 61850 information modeling method.The logical node of the auxiliary subsystem,such as environmental monitoring,safety protection,fire alarm and so on,had been expanded to meet the actual monitoring function requirements of the auxiliary system.(3)Based on the analysis of the IED modeling steps of IEC 61850,the environmental monitoring IED in the auxiliary system was modeled.SCL description of the environment monitoring IED was described by using the substation configuration description language,and the ICD configuration file was created.The XMLSpy software was used to test the validity of the ICD file.The results show that the file was well formed and the syntax format conforms to the IEC 61850 standard.(4)MMS was selected as the communication mode of substation auxiliary system.The mapping of IEC 61850 and MMS model was realized by using MMS-EASE Lite software.The process of creating the server and the implementation of the interface function was studied,and the server of the environmental monitoring device was created.Finally,thecommunication test platform was built.Through the analysis of the intercepted packet,it was indicated that the service request from the client can be recognized and response by the server correctly.The information model of substation auxiliary system is not perfect,which affect the promotion and application of IEC 61850 standard,and improve the information model of the auxiliary system,which has positive significance to the development of the information model.The work done in this paper is a useful attempt to apply the IEC 61850 standard in the auxiliary system.
