Concept Design Research For 200 Persons' Accommodation Barge

In 2008 the outbreak of world economic crisis,the world's major oil companies stop deep sea exploration,and put the major human and material resources on the continental shelf oilfields area.Due to offshore continental shelf oilfields developed earlier,within the next 20 years a lot of oil field equipments,pipelines,truss will also gradually entered a period of high maintenance and phased out,there will be a lot of maintenance or demolition work.Thus,oilfield continental shelf area will have plenty of staff residing for a long time,the number of the original living places and facilities has been far from adequate to meet the actual needs.In addition,humans have the high standards for environmental,health and safety,specially for offshore equipment industry,particularly within the jurisdiction of each country and industry associations on their own norms and standards of the content is constantly updated.In turn,the original place and facilities are required to change,upgrade or replace.Accommodation barge as sea life living facilities,compared with high-end offshore equipments,due to its unique features and low cost,is get more the owner and the customer's attention.Novel,high standard,suitable for continental shelf accommodation barges are increasingly recognized in the market.At first,this paper make clearly the significance of accommodation barge's research and development,through the analysis of the history and status at home and abroad,the main purpose and schedule of the research and development of this subject is obtained;this paper embarks the design requiremen from the differenct aspects,summarizes the key problems in the process of design,formation of the corresponding solutions.In this paper,the specific design process is divided into general layout plan design,stability analysis and the structure design and strength calculation.In the general layout plan design,including the determination of principal dimentions,engine room location,layer number of deck,watertight division,structure form,and the layout of tank and main equipments,finally forms the preliminary general arrangement;In stability analysis,through the intact stability and damage stability analysis,proved the stability meet the rule requirements and rationality of subdivision plan;In structure design and strength calculation,because of the steel market prices without too big difference,put forward by the application of high strength steel instead of common steel concept,through the calculation of local structure calculation(rule calculation),the preliminary main structure size is obtained,and then through the longitudinal strength and transverse strength calculation(finite element analysis),further optimize the structure size,reduce the weight of the structure,improve the cost performance.This design in terms of layout,structure,stability has a variety of innovations,and reach the international advanced level,and has a certain competitiveness in the market.This design cater to the potential market demand,and establish the foundation for entering quickly the market in the future;and for the company developed the new product,and developed the new profit point;and finished technology ready for the consumption of the materials in store.
