Hubei province as a big province of education in our country,Wuhan is the center of its.According to the statistical bureau that in Wuhan,by the end of 2013,Wuhan college students and graduate students a total of 1.1833 million people,That Wuhan had become the world's most college students city.With the rapid development of higher education,In order to provide teachers and students good campus environment,study,work and life for the construction of campus public space environment has become the focus of the campus construction of the project.Wuhan university is located near by the east lake and Luojia mountain.Beautiful natural environment and long cultural history makes it famous all over the country.But rich in natural landscape resources and plant community on campus environment elements such as teachers and students work and study life a certain degree of psychological and behavioral effects,The traditional campus environment design notice more ornamental and recreational function,it's easy to ignore the security function,So it is very necessary to crime prevention through environmental design theory to guide the design of public space in campus.This paper,taking Wuhan university as an example,recycling and collates 287 based on the perception of teachers and students in the campus of Wuhan university public space questionnaire,select the most likely to cause psychological fear of Wuhan university of five places,and the field investigation Preliminary summary of five public space use population structure,use the commonness and characteristics of time and activities.On the basis of above research,based on the six elements of CPTED theory,Separately on the five public space environment field,surveillance,access control,image and target environment maintenance,reinforcement and activities support elements are analyzed.Study its evoke fear of environmental elements,Provide improved optimization design strategy,from the space environment design,security,and human harmony atmosphere in three aspects,Design to satisfy users' psychological security and for the future with a range of crime prevention function of campus public space provide guidance advice.
