Urban Public Spaces Design Based On CPTED

Public space is the main place of public social activities,and its construction guide the city renewal in order and economic development,However,in recent years,the data shows that the city,especially the urban public space has been recognized as the high crime areas,bring great changes to people on the use of public space,further cause estrangement social relations?fear of others and decline of public space,public security even endanger the whole city society.Because the influence factors of crime is too much,whether policy makers,managers or researchers are pay more attention to economic,social and other intangible factors,ignored the city environment.So the methods are usually simple and crude,not only can not solve the problem but also cause harm to the harmonious city and social development.Now the historical foundation of CPTED proves that it can effectively solve the problem of city crime,so we proposed to use CPTED to solve the crime problems in our country urban public space.The paper researched urban public space from the perspective of environmental security,discussed the function and operation principle of CPTED,constructed the theoretical framework of public space security issues based on CPTED,carried out on the multi disciplinary level,provided the principles,ideas and strategies to solve the problems.This paper supplements the content of public space design in the security defense and crime prevention,improves the theory system of planning and design the public space,and provides the decision-making and design opinion for building?managing and developing the public space.The paper is mainly discussed from the following aspects: First think about the realistic demand and rational judgment,we asked this paper and make sure the purpose?methods and framework.Second introduced the CPTED theory as well as related concepts,described how does it work and emphasizes natural strategy.Third introduces the research situation of CPTED at home and abroad,also some practical tools,provide the basis for the research and practice of the latter.Fourth we put forward the framework of planning and design of urban public space,including environment safety assessment and the strategy from design to management.Even some special space.Last we took Hefei Xiaoyaojin Park and its surrounding areas as an example,analyzed the environmental safety problems existing in the site,and puts forward some corresponding opinions and suggestions.
