Research On Risk Management Of Construction Contractor

With the rapid growth of the national economy and the acceleration of modernization,the scale of construction project is expanded,while the complexity increases and the technique difficulty grows as well.This phenomenon leads to gradual rise of uncertain factors and risk confronting the construction contract in the process of implementation.In the background of market economy,the respective rights and obligations of both sides are prescribed by the construction contract.Therefore,how to prevent and control risk of the construction contract influences the survival and development of the enterprise.Based on the state-of-the-art of the construction contractor and previous literatures,this research first refers to research achievement on construction contract at home and abroad learning the advanced experience,then focuses on the risk problem of construction contracts in our country,and puts forward the field study methods to analyze three key problems:risk identification,risk evaluation and risk control.This research investigates the development process of construction contract from different points of view,and analyzes the causes and necessities of construction contract risk from two aspects:contract incompleteness and performance costs.Risk identification and classification are discussed in detail by affinity diagram method.After risk identification,fuzzy analytic hierarchy process combined with questionnaire is applied to determine the key points of models for construction contractor risk evaluation.The expert estimation methods are used to quantify the weights and scores of risk evaluation indicators.The model established by fuzzy analytic hierarchy is used as foundation of construction contractor risk evaluation.Risk averse,transfer,control and retention are four response measures to construction contractor risk,based on which risk control measures of construction contractors are put forward.Risk management suggestions are recommended from construction enterprise systems of organization,personnel,regulation and operation.A specific construction contractor enterprise is used to illustrate the risk identification by affinity diagram.Expert estimation methods are adopted to determine the weights and scores of risk evaluation indicators.The model is validated by calculating the risk value for this enterprise,providing support for risk evaluation and management.
