| The waste crumb rubber modified asphalt has been used for asphalt pavement for more than 20 years,and it has been studied for more time.Although it has geater performance than matrix asphalt,it has faultiness in high-temperature property and thermostability.The OMMT is mixed in matrix asphalt in this paper in order to promoting properties of waste crumb rubber such as high-temperature property,aging property and thermostability.First of all,the waste crumb rubber modified asphalt is compared with the SBS modified asphalt on the part of high-temperature property,low-temperature property,flow property and aging property.It is found that properties of the waste crumb rubber are not up to standard of SBS modified asphalt besides low-temperature.Organic montmorillonite is mixed in the waste crumb rubber to promote asphalt properties.The organic montmorillonite-waste crumb rubber compound modified asphalt will be budget,environmental and excellent performance.Afterwards,the organic montmorillonite-waste crumb rubber compound modified asphalt is studied.The volume of organic montmorillonite is as variable in this paper.Through asphalt softening point test and asphalt rheological test,high-temperature property of the compound modified asphalt will be studied.Through 5℃ asphalt ductility test and asphalt bending creep stiffness,low-temperature property of the compound modified asphalt will be studied.Through asphalt penetration test and asphalt Brookfield viscosity test,flow property of the compound modified asphalt is studied.Through rotation thin film oven test and pressure accelerated aging velocity test,aging property of the compound modified asphalt will be studied.Through 48 hours and 7 day polymer modified asphalt separation test,storage property of the compound modified asphalt is studied.It is found that The volume of organic montmorillonite is more,high-temperature property and aging property is greater and the low-temperature property is decreased.When the volume of organic montmorillonite is more,storage property is greater but then decreased.3%~4%of organic montmorillonite is advised in this paper.Finally,waste crumb rubber is sleek and hom in compound modified asphalt through observation of scanning electron microscope.Hydroxyketone decomposes,alkane,benzene and hydrocarbon produce in compound modified asphalt through observation of infrared spectrum.It is reason of compound modified asphalt proformance change that chemical reaction develops.Organic montmorillonite is as coupling agent in compound modified asphalt and some stable structure is developed. |
