With the development of the field of advanced manufacturing and high-end CNC equipment,electromechanical integration and numerical control systems are moving towards high stability,high reliability,intelligence and automation development direction.And the ball screw as a key component of electromechanical integration and numerical control equipment,its performance will directly determine the performance of the whole system.High-end CNC equipment must be premised on a high-performance ball screw,so the experimental research on the performance of ball screw is essential.In order to study changes of ball screw in the actual conditions of the performance indicators,the development of the ball screw load simulation test bench to develop practical performance test program,and to study the test results,this is of great importance to improve the performance of ball screw products.Firstly,analyzed the current research status of domestic and overseas of ball screw,and ball screw existing test equipment and testing levels were compared.According to the testing requirements of the relevant ball screw performance indicators,determined the overall design scheme of ball screw mechanism load simulation test bench,and the scheme has been demonstrated in theory.The test bench is mainly composed of a control system and a testing systems,and different types of ball screw can be tested on it.Dual servo motors working in a master-slave control mode,can provide axial loading force to simulate ball screw of the actual operating conditions.With a variety of sensors that can monitor the speed,torque,axial load and other parameters,and can also post-process the measured data.Secondly,according to the requirements of the detection system,the principle of ball screw measuring parameters related to performance was introduced,and also the selection and presentation of the required sensors.Several ball screw performance testing softwares were developed,including temperature measurement software,load force measurement software,online precision measurement software,load torque measurement software,and also completed the preparatory work of the testing system.Finally,based on the ball screw mechanism load simulation test bench,the ball screw temperature rise,operation efficiency,precision and noise were tested,and the test results were researched and analyzed,the methods and measures were also put forward to improve the performance of ball screw.Ball screw mechanism loading simulation experiment and test results showed that its performance is stable and reliable,can meet the requirements of ball screw under the condition of simulation performance test,provided a guarantee for the development of the test product performance improvement and new product.
