Construction industry is one of the pillar industries in China,and the healthy development of construction is related to the national economy.Compared with the developed countries in Europe and America,the practice qualification system of China's construction industry is late,in the concrete implementation process there are many such as unreasonable level setting,the examination subject set unscientific,qualification certificate affiliation phenomenon,the laws and regulations are not perfect,which also caused the inability to pass the examination to measure a construction practitioners of the practice ability.The existing classification of professional personnel,the system can play a certain role but there are some limitations.Therefore,it is very urgent and necessary to develop a comprehensive evaluation system for the practicing personnel in the field of construction.Based on the construction division of China Construction Association,"The evaluation system of the practicing ability of the practicing personnel in the construction field and the application research--taking the builder as an example" taking the largest number of building practitioners and the most complex practice of the construction division as an example,the research on the evaluation system of the builder's practicing ability is carried out.This paper,with the help of the theory of competency,makes clear the intension and extension of competency of registered builders,uses literature research method,interview method,questionnaire survey method,statistical analysis method based on SPSS software,and so on,constructs and optimizes the competency model of construction engineer.The model includes 31 evaluation factors,grouped into 6 dimensions: "Personal experience" dimension,"personal trait" dimension,"knowledge skill" dimension,"project Management capability" dimension,"Team Power" dimension,and "Enterprise Impact" dimension.On the basis of this,the entropy value analytic hierarchy process is used to determine each evaluation factor and the weight of each dimension in the model.Personal experience "dimension weight is 9.0%,personal trait" dimension weight is 21.0%,"knowledge skill" dimension weight is11.98%,"Project management Ability" dimension weight is 33.06%," Team Power" Dimension weight is 15.75%," Enterprise influence " dimension weight is 9.22%,theevaluation index of each evaluation index is bigger: schedule management ability(10.81%),Quality management ability(8.68%),job whether due diligence(8.58%),team work(8.12%),Relationship Establishment(5.58%),risk management capability(4.92%)and cost management capability(4.89%).On the whole,this paper,taking the builder as an example,based on summarizing the existing construction division and awarding system in China,puts forward an evaluation system of the Construction Division competence based on competency model,which provides a reference method for enterprises and society to evaluate the practice ability of builders and select professionals.At the same time,it provides an operational reference for the construction of other practitioners ' ability evaluation system,which promotes the competency of the building practitioners.In addition,based on the literature analysis,industry status analysis,existing model contrast analysis,qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,and a wide range of point to point questionnaires and(experts)interviews,in the research methods and models,can provide a reference for other related research methods.
