At the beginning of 2017,the National Ministry of Education implemented the teaching reform in universities.China has proposed a "double class" national strategic standard for university construction,providing strong support for the Chinese dream.In order to allow the university students to have a more open academic vision and a wider teaching atmosphere,the model of inter-discipline communication should be promoted,which essentially makes the university become an ideal place for openness and integration.The teaching method is gradually changed from "cramming" to "students and students" and "students and teachers".The campus buildings of universities conform to the development trend and regard the design of campus communication space as an indispensable part.College student activity center as a campus "living room",taking "the second classroom" teaching function,is a supplement to the first class,not only represents the spirit of the campus cultural atmosphere,to the society at the same time also become the "incubator" of new talents.Therefore,the status of student activity center in contemporary colleges and universities is more important than in the 1990 s,and it gradually develops into a campus building of equal importance to the library and teaching buildings.However,our country has a late start to such architectural design,with poor foundation,lack of permeable space,and lack of humanization,leading to low cohesion of the activity center.The lack of attention to the use of the subject,not fully study the students' psychological behavior characteristics,did not provide the space to meet the needs of users,resulting in insufficient space vitality.The traditional activity center has a relatively single space function,and pays less attention to the creation of student communication space.With the demand for innovative talents in the information age and the guidance of the "learning community" concept,the contemporary university activity center design emphasizes the interaction between the functions and learning life.We need to create multi-level shared communication space,which equipped with a full range of functional rooms,and designactive,open indoor and outdoor space to interdisciplinary communication.As a part of campus culture,it not only provides places for learning,activities and offices,but also needs to create spiritual environment.It has obligations and responsibilities to show the core culture of the school and the regional culture of the region.At the same time,the campus has diverse disciplines,diverse collectives,diverse thoughts,and interdisciplinary communication has become the current trend.The importance of cooperation consciousness and collective consciousness is also increasingly valued.The design of contemporary university activity centers tends to be diversified.To sum up,the transformation of teaching mode and the development of economy make future university construction more complex.As an increasingly important building in the campus,student activity center will become a new way of life for college students.The full text is divided into 3 chapters.It analyzes and summarizes the general situation and development of college student activity center,the compound trend of the design of university student activity center,and the exploration of university student activity center design strategy.Combined with the outstanding practical cases,this paper analyzes the basic demand space of university activity centers.Meanwhile,it combines the current student behavior mode to explore the compound of space.
