Abstract/Summary:
Scroll pump is a new carrier of scroll mechanical principle and it is a new generation of volumetric pump.It has advantages that are unmatched by traditional volumetric pumps.Most researches on scroll pumps are focused on scroll vacuum pumps and scroll gas-liquid mixing pumps.There have been very few studies on scroll liquid pumps,and only a few prototypes are in test operation.Therefore,the study of the scroll liquid pump is of great significance.The paper starts with the principle of scroll mechanics.Introduces the principle of scroll mechanical profile and the principle of meshing with the scroll profile.In the view of involute of regular polygon,the mechanism of scroll profile coupling is analyzed.The meshing law of the regular polygon is obtained;Through studying the general characteristics of the general scroll profile with different parameters,the mathematical expression of the general scroll profile is deduced;The particularity of the scroll liquid pump is analyzed.According to the scroll liquid pump working principle,the hydrologic calculation is carried out,and the mathematical expressions of the flow and pressure distribution during the liquid suction and drainage were obtained.The leakage during the operation of the scroll pump was analyzed,and the mathematical model of radial and circumferential leakage was obtained.Taking the involute of line segment as the research object,the dynamic analysis of the scroll pump was carried out.Firstly,the theoretical calculation of the geometry of the profile is performed,and the mathematical expressions of each arc of the profile and pitch of the profile are obtained.Then,the force calculation formulas of the scroll disc and the anti-rotation mechanism are deduced.According to the theoretical formula,it is found that the dynamic characteristics of the scroll pump are closely related to the structural parameters: eccentricity,the height of the scroll teeth,and the thickness of the scroll teeth.To solve the problem of the influence of key geometric parameters eccentricity,scrolltooth height,and scroll tooth thickness on the dynamic characteristics of the scroll pump,firstly,combined with the example data,using the deduced theoretical formula,the model data of the key components of the scroll pump was calculated;then based on specific data,the three-dimensional model of the key components of the scroll pump was established;then,virtual prototype of scroll pump is established by using virtual prototyping software ADAMS;and the dynamic simulation of a scroll pump is carried out by using the prototype;Finally,after the optimized design variables are obtained,according to the simulation data analysis,it is concluded that increasing the eccentricity and reducing the thickness of the scroll teeth can effectively reduce the axial reaction force and improve the stability of the pump.
