Urban waterfront park is an important part of the modern urban public environment,which not only covers the natural ecological landscape in the urban landscape environment,but also includes the artificial landscape area in the urban landscape environment.It is of great significance for the construction of the contemporary urban landscape environment and restricts the development of the urban ecological environment to a certain extent.The planning and design of urban waterfront landscape is to investigate and analyze the current situation of the site.Based on the protection and utilization of ecological resources,landscape planning and design are carried out on the site,so as to organically combine the created landscape environment with the existing ecological environment.While strengthening the accessibility and intimacy between human and nature,the adjustment of natural open space to urban landscape environment should be given full play to realize the harmonious development between human and nature and create an urban development environment centering on ecological and green development.Based on the analysis of the current environmental conditions of wuhan hankou river bank phase iv waterfront park,this paper studies the protection,restoration and utilization of waterfront park landscape with the theory of landscape ecology from the perspective of the theoretical system of waterfront landscape planning and design.At the same time,it is necessary to explore the ecological and landscape functions of urban waterfront parks on the basis of the protection and restoration of urban waterfront development,so as to promote the formation of a benign cycle of waterfront ecological landscape system,realize the sustainable development of the city,and have a far-reaching impact on the improvement of modern urban ecological environment.
