Construction industry is the material basis for the survival and development of various industries of the national economy.The development of construction industry is not only related to the economy of a country,but also to the national life of the country.The number of enterprises and employees in the domestic construction industry are numerous,with different scales and different qualities.Under the situation of sluggish global economic growth,slowing domestic economic growth and deepening comprehensive reform,many enterprises have been eliminated in the fierce competition.The reason is that they have not seen clearly the development trend of the industry,have not made an in-depth analysis of their own stages and capabilities and resources,and have no clear strategic development direction.J company is a road construction enterprise in jiujiang city,jiangxi province.Its main business is road construction and road maintenance,is a typical small and medium-sized enterprise in the growth stage.Facing more complicated changes of economic environment and the increasingly fierce market competition,the company continues to grow,but also in the development process of gradually exposed some problems,such as weakness of business development,profit growth,financial risk,management lacks and so on,how to conform to the trend of the development of the market,integration of its own resources and capabilities,to seek wider development space,a clear strategic direction,making strategic objectives appears imminent.In this paper,the construction industry,especially small and medium-sized enterprises as the background of the industry,and analyzes the internal and external environment.Based on the theory of enterprise strategic management,with the aid of analytical tools and analytical models,in the growth period of J company,for example,the actual environment in the process of development and problems of in-depth analysis,and put forward adjust measures to local conditions suitable for the business environment and development stages of the strategic development Suggestions.From the structure,this paper is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction.The second part is an overview of the theory of enterprise strategic management.The third part is to analyze the internal and external environment of J company with the analysis tools commonly used in enterprise strategic management.The fourth part is the formulation of J company’s development strategy.The fifth part is the specific implementation of the development strategy of J company.According to the existing conditions of J company and the market environment,the feasible implementation plan of the development strategy is given.The sixth part is the conclusion.
