Planning And Design Of Specialized Botanical Gardens

Specialized botanical garden is a kind of garden form which emphasizes the special display of plants and plant landscaping.It is also one of the important components of today’s landscape.Botanical garden not only has high ornamental value,artistic value,but also has high scientific and scientific value.With the vigorous development of landscape industry in China,the application of botanical garden is more and more extensive.Scientific planning and design of special botanical gardens can not only show the garden characteristics of specific plants,but also reflect their rich cultural and regional characteristics.In this paper,the botanical garden as the main research object,focusing on its planning and design theory and methods,and combining theory with practice completed the planning and design of Linyi Chinese Ginkgo Garden.The first chapter is a summary of botanical gardens.By summarizing the research background and the current situation of botanical gardens at home and abroad,the research methods and contents are determined and the research framework of this paper is worked out.The second chapter outlines the concept and development of botanical garden.Firstly,the concepts of botanical gardens and botanical gardens are distinguished,and the relationship between them is clarified.Then,the origin and development of botanical gardens in China are introduced,in order to summarize the types,characteristics and functions of botanical gardens in China.Chapter III and Chapter IV summarize the shortcomings of the development of botanical parks in China through the analysis of domestic and foreign cases.Based on botany,landscape aesthetics,landscape ecology and sustainable development theory,the planning and design methods of botanical parks are analyzed from five aspects: plant planning,water body planning,functional area planning,road system planning and infrastructure planning.In the fifth chapter,the planning and design methods of plant garden are applied topractice.The planning and design of Chinese Ginkgo Garden are completed by analyzing the existing conditions of Linyi Chinese Ginkgo Garden and evaluating the landscape characteristics of Ginkgo Garden.In this paper,through the study of planning and design of botanical gardens,I hope to play a guiding role in the rational design and innovative development of botanical gardens.
