The burden of road auxiliary facilities increased according to the traffic in China continue to increase. These facilities are highly susceptible to pollution due to the large traffic volume and serious exhaust gas.The contaminated road auxiliary facilities not only affect the aesthetics of the road, but the presence of oil and dust also reduce the anti-corrosion effect, and there are certain risks and difficulties in cleaning the facilities. Therefore, the way to make the road auxiliary facilities have anti-pollution effect is one of the concerns of road workers. On the basis of learning relevant literature, this paper uses simple basic materials to carry out antifouling treatment on common road auxiliary facilities and its performance was evaluated.Hydrophobic and oleophobic properties were evaluated by measuring the contact angle and the presence or absence of contact with the solid medium of the antifouling solution of water and oil.The high temperature performance and low temperature performance were evaluated by different extreme temperatures. The weather resistance of antifouling coatings was evaluated by freeze-thaw cycle treatment.Evaluation of acid resistance and alkali resistance of antifouling coating was tested by immersing solid medium coated with antifouling liquid in acid or alkali solution. The following conclusions were gotten:1.Hhydrophilic group was introduced into the antifouling coating by adding modified groups or modified copolymers, and in addition to the hydrophobic chain,a hydrophilic segment such as a hydroxyl group or a polyether is simultaneously present. The hydrophobic groups and hydrophilic groups in the antifouling coating can change position depending on the state of the solid surface.Normally, the static contact angle of the antifouling coated surface and water is maintained at 100°,and the contact angle with the oil is about 70°.2.Adhesion of the antifouling coating to the solid contact surface is influenced by the roughness of the solid contact surface. The roughness of the solid surface is inversely proportional to the adhesion, and the hydrophobic and oleophobic performance of galvanized guardrail coated with the antifouling coating is slightly less than the ordinary steel plate and glass sheet with smooth surface.3.The temperature has little effect on the hydrophobic and oleophobic properties of the antifouling coating and its adhesion to the solid contact surface. The adhesion of water and oil to the antifouling coating after different temperature treatments is tested. Both the water and the oil can easily slide off the solid surface with antifouling coating after passing through the high temperature, low temperature and freeze-thaw cycles. After removing the oil,the hydrophobic and oleophobic properties of several solid contact surfaces are still good.4.The change of pH has a certain degree of influence on the hydrophobic and oleophobic performance of anti-fouling coatings for road auxiliary facilities. The more the antifouling coating peels off from the solid surface with the smaller pH,the greater concentration of the solution and the longer the solid material is soaked therein, hydrophobic and oleophobic performance is greatly affected. As the pH increases, even if the concentration of the alkaline solution is saturated, the antifouling coating is difficult to peel off from the solid surface, and the hydrophobic and oleophobic property is substantially unchanged.
