The primary form of war in 21 st century is information battle rather than mechanization battle in the past.Information will determine the process of war in future.In order to adapt to this environment,the armed forces of most countries are dedicated to develop the military information technology so that they can get exclusive priority and greatly enhance the fighting capacity of their militaries.The electronic warfare has become the main part of the information war.Due to the disruption of communication,information intercepted or leaked and other vicious incidents,lots of military defeat happened in the history.Therefore,anti-interception and anti-interference issues in military are highly focused all the time.In order to solve military communication security issues,current anti-jamming technology are mainly as followed: encryption,spread spectrum,frequency hopping,diversity,burst communication,antenna adaptive-adjustment technology.Among them,burst communication has been widely used in weapon guidance and secure communication due to its short transmission time and uncertain sending time,which greatly improves the anti-reconnaissance and anti-interception ability of the signal.According to the requirements of relevant project,this paper designs a receiver hardware platform of burst communication system.It elaborates the design requirements of this hardware platform,and demonstrates the plan of the whole solution with partial modules.The hardware platform described in this paper mainly includes the following modules: RF module,IF module,clock module,microcontroller module,signal processing module and power module.The scheme selections and implemental methods of the above modules in the hardware circuit design are illustrated in detail during the paper,then it summarizes various problems during the design process.The process of hardware platform design in this paper consists of scheme design,schematic design,frequency synthesizer software design,PCB design and etc.Meanwhile,key RF factors of the receiver such as signal integrity,power integrity,electromagnetic compatibility and signal timing of the platform are simulated with various EDA software to ensure the coincidence of design goals and actual parameters.The performance of the hardware platform was tested after its manufacture.It indicates that the platform achieves the hardware specifications of the burst communication system and can be applied to the corresponding working environment.Finally,the paper summarizes the shortcomings and achievements of this design,then presents the arrangement in future.
