In recent years,in the context of rapid urbanization and extreme climate change, the problem of urban guilt has become more and more prominent, posing a great threat to the lives of residents and daily travel safety. On July 8,2017,Kulangsu was officially listed as a "World Heritage List" with "a long-established international community".As a famous scenic tourist area and a World Heritage Site,Kulangsu faces the same problems as most old towns in terms of water security issues within the city. Therefore, under the premise of cognition of world heritage protection,it is necessary to seek an idea and plan to effectively solve the existing water security problems. This paper firstly studies the research progress of sponge city water safety, the quantitative analysis of drainage model and the principle of Info Works ICM.Secondly, combined with the current conditions of Kulangsu natural conditions, urban texture, street space, landscape protection, drainage system and drainage system,it provides a basis for the improvement and improvement of Kulangsu.Using Arcgis and Info Works ICM,integrated design rain, underlying surface, drainage network, and catchnent area to construct the current drainage model of Kulangsu heritage site, and analyze the status of Kulangsu heritage site through assessment of urban water security system in three scenarios.Situation and analysis of reasons for non-compliance.Finally,combined with the characteristics of Kulangsu's geographical environment and heritage protection, through the Info Works ICM model, the improvement measures of Kulangsu rainwater runoff control system, rainwater pipe system and internal control system under the perspective of sponge city are proposed, and the three scenarios after the upgrade are carried out.Evaluation comparison. The results show that based on the sponge city concept and the protection background of the heritage site, the Info Works ICM model is used to propose the optimal water security transformation strategy, which minimizes the negative impacts caused by the project and provides an intuitive display of the transformation effect.Provide reference for the renovation of water security issues in heritage sites, historical and cultural protection blocks and old towns.
