Designoflnterior Space Environmentfor Aged-Apartment Basedon Behavioral Model

The pension facilities were constructing in the initial development stage due to the arrival of China's aging.As an important part of the old-age facilities,the elderly-apartment has received extensive attention from society at the beginning.In view of the current situation of the single spatial-form for elderly apartment,this paper has formed a set of designs for the interior space-environment of the elderly apartment.These designs were contributed by the behavior pattern of the elderly,the perspective of architecture and the regional characteristics of the Baoji area,respectively.Firstly,the history of development,current situation and the division ofinterior space –shape for elderly apartment was analyzed.Secondly,interior space-environment for elderly apartment was investigated based on the physiological characteristics,psychological characteristics and behavioral characteristics for behavior patterns of the elderly.The survey and summary of the elderly apartments were carried out in Baoji area.The living-space,public-space and assistance-space were summarized in three types of elder,including of self-care type,assistance-care type and full-help type.Finally,the strategy of interior space-environment design for elderly-apartment was obtained through research in Baoji area,andthe characteristics of Baoji area were performed.So,the design ofinterior space-environment for elderly-apartment will be enriched according to this paper.
