With the rapid development of military reconnaissance technology,the trend of intelligence,multi-dimensionality and refinement of reconnaissance means is increasingly emerging,which puts forward higher and higher requirements for camouflage technology.Digital Camouflage,as a new type of camouflage,can achieve the goal of contour distortion by infiltrating adjacent color blocks through space mixing after the implementation of camouflage target,which is highly integrated with the background.It is easier to deal with high resolution aerial reconnaissance than traditional camouflage.Space mixing plays an important role in the camouflage effect of digital camouflage.In order to study the influence of spatial color mixing on camouflage effect,and to improve and optimize the design of digital camouflage.The main research of this paper includes four aspects:(1)The influencing factors of spatial color mixing of camouflage,including color,color block size,atmospheric attenuation,air curtain brightness and so on;(2)For the variables corresponding to the above influencing factors,the control variable method is used to carry out the experiments on spatial mixing of tricolor and digital camouflage.We achieve some the rules of spatial mixing;(3)A spatial mixing model of digital camouflage is established based on Butterworth LPF and color angle frequency,combined with atmospheric image degradation;(4)An evaluation method of camouflage effect based on spatial mixing is proposed.Research and experimental results show that the mixing rules obtained from spatial mixing experiments are in line with the visual characteristics of human eyes.The change of color difference and brightness is the main reason that affects the spatial mixing.The larger the color difference or brightness,the smaller the area where the spatial mixing occurs and the lower the proportion of the mixing.On the contrary,the larger the area where the color mixing occurs,the higher the proportion of the mixing.(2)The established spatial color mixing model can simulate the actual spatial color mixing process of digital camouflage,which conforms to the visual characteristics of human vision and the spatial color mixing law.(3)The camouflage effect of Digital Camouflage can be quantitatively evaluated by using the index of spatial mixing degree.The model established in this paper provides a scientific theoretical basis for improving and optimizing the design of Digital Camouflage and verifying the influence of spatial mixing on camouflage effect.
