In the context of economic globalization,China's manufacturing industry is facing increasing pressure.As labor costs,logistics costs and material costs continue to rise,corporate profits are also squeezed to varying degrees.The research object of this paper belongs to the category of home appliance manufacturing industry.Therefore,from the perspective of enterprise management,the diversity of products and the faster speed of change will make it more difficult.Traditional management methods and ideas are no longer applicable to current inventory conditions and changing market conditions.In order to achieve a win-win situation,every company in the supply chain needs to share information.Whether the company can win a first-line life in the fierce competition depends on whether the inventory management is effective or not.As a foreign-owned home appliance company,since its establishment in 2011?the inventory problem of M company has become more and more outstanding.This paper uses supply chain management theory and inventory management theory to analyze the company's inventory status,finds that the company has too many slow moving materials,and lacks effective inventory management methods and measures.It also analyzes the causes in detail and proposes the following related Improvement measures:I.Strengthen employee training and establish a corresponding assessment system to enable employees to form a good supply chain management concept and strengthen communication between departments.Optimize the original supply chain,adjust the relevant organizational structure,smooth communication between departments,enhance cross-departmental cooperation willingness,and improve cooperation efficiency;2.Based on the original material ABC classification inventory management method,combined with supplier classification and Positioning model to reduce supply chain risk;3.According to the classification of products,adopt appropriate inventory management methods according to their different performances in product cycle;4.Apply advanced modern information system technology,comprehensively apply management system,minimize human error information makes the information more transparent and more accurate.5.Both the customer and the supplier need to build strategic partners to ensure a win-win situation or even a all-win situation,so that the value of each party can be maximized,and all parties can get benefit from it.For M company,it is precisely because of the above measures that the major problems in inventory management have been solved,effectively reducing inventory pressure and improving the competitiveness of enterprises.In the aspects of supply chain management,inventory management,and optimization of costs,it also provides a good reference and guidance for the manufacturing industry and the logistics industry.
