Since the 21 st century,"unmanned engine room" has become the normal state of new ships.It is not only the performance of highly automated marine engine,but also promotes the development of the whole ship automation.The engine room monitoring and alarm system is the key to the realization of "unmanned engine room".Its main function is to enable the marine engine manager to get rid of the high temperature and noisy environment,carry out the remote monitoring of status and the parameters of engine room's equipment and alarm through the computer when the parameters are over the limit.The improvement of the system will promote the safety of the whole ship navigation.With the rapid development of Internet of things technology and telecommunication technology,Marine LAN and shipboard satellite communication technology promote the development of ship management and information networking.The application of IOT wireless communication technology in engine room data acquisition and transmission has the advantages of low cost,short construction period,high flexibility and scalability,and strong reliability.On the other hand,the B/S network structure is adopted to design the engine room monitoring and alarm system based on the shipboard Web server,which has unique advantages,such as reduce the maintenance cost of the client and improve the system security.In this paper,based on the ship's engine room monitoring alarm system as the research object,aim at the existing ship engine room data acquisition difficult and complex wiring,and unable to realize real-time monitoring Web access,with low power consumption wan(LPWAN)wireless communication technology solve the problem of ship's underlying data transmission,research and development based on Web server from a ship engine room monitoring and alarm system.The self-developed multi-protocol(supporting RS485,RS232,CAN,TCP/IP,wireless LoRa)Marine data acquisition gateway and front-end node hardware of data acquisition based on wireless LoRa mechanism are adopted to enrich the underlying data acquisition and transmission mode of the system and improve the convenience and flexibility of the system.C language and JAVA language development technology are adopted to design the data acquisition and transmission program of nodes,gateways and server side,so that the data can be successfully collected from the bottom engine room to the server side for storage.The IDEA tool and MySQL database are used to solve the system's problems of the design and developmentof the Web interface and the construction of monitoring and alarm database,so as to improve the efficiency and security of the system development process and enable the crew to monitor the engine room through the Web browser or mobile devices within the ship LAN.
