Causes Of Delay In Project Time Planning In Pakistan Construction Industry

The construction industry is the backbone of any country and it plays an important role in the infrastructure development of a country.If someone wants to about the advancement of a country,infrastructure expresses the modernization of a country.If the infrastructure of any country is well developed with state of the art new facilities,it means the country is in progressing state.If the infrastructure is old,consequently it means the system is old and the country is not in a list of a developed or developing country.Pakistan infrastructure lies in the middle,a lot of investors from all over the world are showing their interest and investing in the infrastructure development of Pakistan i.e.highway,roads,metro-trains,and others.A few years back,China showed great interest in the infrastructure development of Pakistan just not as a neighbor but as a best friend.To find out the real story about the construction industry,a study has been conducted.04 Companies project personnel responded to the questionnaire,100 respondent's had given their response against close-ended questions and 04 project managers answered each open-ended questions.Use of tool for project management and as well as during the project time planning phase.Most influencing internal and external factors also pointed by the help of available literature.In the end,recommendations are suggested for the individual for better project planning and opportunities for future research also underlined.
