Purpose-Human Resource is an essential part of an organization to perform different activities at a workplace,and without the support cannot perform well.Effective utilization of Human resources leads to the accomplishment of goals,and it can be achieved by retaining employees at the workplace for a long time.In this thesis.Human Resource Management,Project Management,Awareness of Occupational Health&Safety,and Adaption of New Technology have been discussed with the effect on Project Success.Highway construction project-based organizations experiencing losing their key employees and talent.Design/methodology approach-This study mainly focuses on identifying the influence of human resource retention in the successful completion of highway construction of a section of Lahore to Abdul Hakeem(M3)Motorway of Karachi-Lahore Motorway(KLM)Project in Pakistan.A survey conducted by collecting data from the 104 respondents(100 for quantitative&04 for qualitative analysis)who were involved in the project.The results were then analyzed using regression function in and among the variables in SPSS software.Findings-Analysis performed in SPSS to find the impact on project success,03 variables found with a significant impact on the retention of the Human Resource in a project.It is revealed that HRM,PMP&AT mainly influences the retention of employees,Furthermore,lack of talented human resource and training(soft&hard skill development)of hired employees have great significance.To improve this issue,exit interviews will help concerns of leaving employees recorded who provide a more valuable response,and later on can be used to retaining employees and vice versa.Moreover,quality management or supervision offers a significant role in keeping employees at the project site.In addition,awareness of training on the latest tools that will provide advantage and improvement. |
