The Study On The Cause Of Delay & The Model Of Early Warning In Construction Project

Project delay is a common problem in the world construction industry today. For the construction of engineering project in our country, this problem is especially outstanding. It is an important reason leading to runaway in progress rate, quality, investment and dispute in the related aspects, and has great influences upon the social and economic benefits of the construction project. The aim studied in this paper will build a time-cost relationship model for the engineering project. The hysteresis and blindness of construction duration control are overcome be the effective early warning, guaranteeing the construction project to finish on time. First, the wide investigations are carried out on the engineering projects in Fujian, and the concrete data of current project delay are got. The investigation results have further shown that the importance and necessity of the early warning model of project delay is built. On the basis of investigation data, a time-cost relationship model has been built, which is based on Bromilow model. This model has the high precision, and has the values of engineering application and dissemination. Secondly, the factors that influence the construction duration quota are analyzed. Using the cluster function of neutral net of self-organizing competition, a new regional sorting way is put forward, and it makes quota duration more reasonable. Next, the factors that influence the construction duration are classified in this study, and a questionnair based on the reasons of the construction duration is designed. A wide investigation is made on influencing the factors of construction duration. Then, on the basis that analyze the investigation results in depth, main factors are determined, which influence the construction delay, laying the foundation for building the early warning model for the duration. Then, based on the network planning technique, the possibility of process time realization is studied, the defects of dynamic forecasting method of current duration are analyzed, and the improving formula of dynamic forecasting is put forward. Thus, the effective tool is provided for building the early warning model for the duration. Finally, based on the results of investigation analysis of project delay reasons, by analyzing and comparing the given control index and methods, the early warning model index of construction delay and corresponding early warning principle are determined, and a early warning model is built with the theoretical and practical values. By it, the effective early warning can be realized.
