| Over the past 40 years of reform and opening up,China has initiated the largest rapid urbanization process in human history.However,rapid urbanization has also brought many problems to the city.One of the most important problems is the deterioration of the urban water environment.Urban waterlogging,water shortage and water pollution have become major problems hindering the sustainable development of the city.In response to the water environment problems in China’s urbanization process.President Xi Jinping proposed at the central urbanization work conference in December 2013 that "a The Sponge City with natural accumulation,natural infiltration and natural purification" is undoubtedly a milestone in China’s sustainable development of ecological city construction.However,since the reform of expanding the enrollment scale of higher education started in 1999,the enrollment scale of colleges and universities has been continuously expanded,and all kinds of campuses are also continuously carrying out basic construction.More and more buildings and roads in inside of the campus are impervious and hard to underlay flour,and the infrastructure of the campus is increasingly unable to keep pace with the pace of campus construction.When the city encounters rainfall,the phenomena of waterlogging in the campus and suspension of classes of students are common.Therefore,the construction of sponge campus has entered people’s vision and received more and more attention.University campus space is an important part of the city’s green ecosystem and also an important part of the construction of the city’s sponge system.The construction of sponge campus plays a positive role in promoting the overall goal of the construction of The Sponge City.On the basis of combing the domestic and foreign research literature,this paper defines the concept of sponge campus planning from the perspective of landscape planning and design,combining the relevant theories and construction practice cases of rain and flood management and water resources utilization in The Sponge City and sponge campus at home and abroad,and taking Hainan University as an example,analyzes and summarizes the current construction situation and existing problems of university campus in tropical areas.This paper puts forward the principles of sponge campus landscape design,design objectives,key technical links,suitable sponge facilities and other contents,discusses the organic integration mode of The Sponge City theory and campus landscapein sponge campus,constructs the overall theory of tropical university sponge campuslandscape planning and design from three aspects of planning methods,landscape construction and sponge technology,and systematically summarizes the tropical sponge campus landscape planning and design strategies.Firstly,starting from the current situation of water ecology in domestic cities and campuses,this paper sorts out the relevant research background of The Sponge City’s planning and construction and the research progress at home and abroad,summarizes the deficiencies in the current research and practice in The Sponge City,and then puts forward the concept,purpose and significance of sponge campus planning and the urgency of applying The Sponge City concept to campus landscape planning and design.Secondly,the typical cases of sponge campus construction at home and abroad are analyzed,summarized and commented,and their successful experiences are used for reference.Thirdly,based on the theoretical knowledge of ecology.Landscape Architecture,hydrology and other related disciplines,from the perspective of integration of planning methods,landscape construction and sponge technology,the principles,objectives and measures of sponge campus landscape planning are explored,and a sponge campus landscape construction system is proposed.Finally,aiming at the objective conditions such as tropical climate,resource conditions and campus geographical environment,taking Hainan University as an example,the paper puts forward the optimization strategy of the sponge space landscape environment on Hainan University campus,which realizes the virtuous cycle of campus rainwater and constructs a green campus with harmonious human and nature and comfortable and beautiful environment. |
