| Automobile industry,one of important mainstay industry in China’s economy,plays important roles in promoting manufacturing power and deepening supply-side structural reform.Automobile parts industry,an important part of automobile industry,takes an important position in the automobile industry chains increasingly.It has been reported in the 19 th CPC national congress that China’s economic development has shifted from a stage of rapid growth to a stage of high-quality development.Therefore,we must carry on Quality Priority and rejuvenating our country through improving the quality of products.Product quality becomes the core competitiveness for the vehicle factories.Meanwhile,this advantage is the key to sustainable development.What can’t be ignored is that the quality of finished automobile largely depends on the quality of automotive components.How to improve auto parts quality through improving production quality management has been a worth studying topic discussed by both enterprise managers and researchers.A case about automotive air conditioning manufacturing company,LY,is given in this paper.Comprehensive and systematical reviews of the literatures is insufficient to complete this study.Field investigation and on-site interview are used to improve and refine this paper.Fortunately,problems in the implementation of total quality management of LY are identified.Systematical analysis method is essential when it comes to TQM.The causes of these problems are found out with the help of related theories and the theoretical tool method.Finding problems is not the end goal.Optimization strategy and implementation safeguard measures are proposed in the end.It is investigated that the incomprehension of the connotation of total quality management,lack of quality awareness in cadre of employees,inadequate quality training as well as the imperfection in quality assessment mechanism led to the terrible situation.The paper makes an in-depth study on the TQM of America and Japan,to provide a reference for the improvement of YL’s TQM.On the basis of the above research,the paper puts forward the optimization strategy of YL company’s total quality management:Firstly,total quality management organizational structure is expected to establish.Besides,the system document of total quality management should be completed.What’s more,quality process control is hoped to strengthen.In addition total quality management awareness is expected to raise.Then it’s essential to improve the training effect and construct the total quality management incentive mechanism.In the end,the company’s quality management improvement mechanism must be improved.Supporting measures,establishing corporate quality culture,importing equipment and recruiting capable person,building quality information platform as well as strengthening supplier quality control are also indispensable,to ensure the effective implementation of the strategy.This study puts forward feasible measures for LY to optimize total quality management system and improve the quality of production management.Additionally other related enterprises that are willing to carry out and optimize total quality management are expected to learn from this paper. |
