This paper studies how to improve the braking safety of trucks on long downhill sections.Firstly,by analyzing the characteristics of truck accidents in the long downhill section,the driver's driving habits and the driving condition of truck are investigated.On the basis of this,an in-depth study on traffic accidents occurred during the long slope of trucks is carried out.It is proposed that the attenuation of braking efficiency and even the failure of braking are the main internal reasons for traffic accidents of trucks on long slopes.Based on the analysis of the accident characteristics of truck in the long downhill section,the form,structure and material of truck brake are studied,and the heating and cooling laws of truck brake are analyzed.Draws a three-dimensional entity CATIA model based on the physical contents of the main parts of the brake.The Ansys finite element analysis model is established by introducing the finite element analysis software.According to the actual operating conditions and heat generation and heat dissipation mode of the truck,the braking time change process of the main parts of the drum brake is analyzed.measurement to reduce the thermal attenuation of brake is proposed.The components of cooling system are designed and optimized.According to the analysis and calculation results,the main parts of the brake cooling system are designed,and a brake cooling device with accurate temperature,high heat transfer efficiency,and atomized water jet cooling is designed to provide a safe driving solution for the truck on the long slope.
