While the urbanization in China is now going through a period of time requiring deep and comprehensive progress,with the high speed construction and expansion across our nation,there appears problems such as the unmatching pace of planning and construction,the loss the of dynamic balance of land development in urban fringe,the separation of city and country landscape,as well as the shattered blue-green space of urban fringe,which are greatly threatening the sustainable development of cities.Meanwhile,urban fringe with its blue-green space is a place where problems of urbanization gather,and also a key spot where many conflicts can be solved or at least alleviated.From the perspective of the collaboration between landscape planning and urban planning,this paper discusses issues concerning the planning and construction of blue-green space in urban fringe.By combing concepts pertaining to urban fringe and analyzing the current theories and practice of urban fringe blue-green space planning,which constitute a clear understanding of the key concept in this research-urban fringe blue-green space,and by studying some classical cases in practice,this research is aimed at coming up with principles,strategies as well as means of the planning and construction of urban fringe blue-green space.Finally,taking Baiteng Lake which is located at Doumen district,Zhuhai,as an example,this research shows how the conclusion should be applied to the planning and construction of project in reality,which in turn facilites the adjustments and improvements of the conclusion itself.
