Urban commercial block is an important window to reflect the spirit of the city.Public art of commercial block is an important link between urban culture and commercial block,and is the most intuitive carrier of urban culture.In the construction of commercial blocks,the combination of commercial elements,regional culture and art has become a new way of thinking for the management and development of commercial blocks.Nevertheless,it is rare for public art to truly participate in the planning and design of commercial blocks,and there is still insufficient concern about how public art extracts regional culture and how regional culture carries out artistic expression.On the premise of homogenization of urban construction,intensified commercial competition and improvement of public aesthetic awareness,how to effectively improve the quality of space culture,commercial competitiveness,and create commercial blocks that meet the public aesthetic needs is an important issue facing the managers of commercial blocks.Firstly,by combing the concepts of regional culture,commercial block and public art,this paper seeks to find the conjunction point between regional culture and public art in commercial block,and explores the theoretical basis for making public art the key means of inheriting regional culture in commercial block.Secondly,it makes a comparative study of the typical commercial block in China at present,and studies it from the subjective and objective perspectives.At present,the typical commercial districts in China have been investigated and studied,and the current situation of the use of public art in commercial districts has been summarized.The regional control of elements such as culture,shape,color and material has been put forward,and the influencing factors of public art design in commercial districts have been analyzed.After the analysis and study of many practical cases,the ways and regions of extracting regional culture from public art have been put forward.Finally,according to the interpretation of public art works in commercial blocks,from the perspective of art design,this paper analyses the design strategies of public art in commercial blocks when carrying regional culture.From the perspective of regional cultural inheritance and based on the change of commercial culture,this paper takes public art as a means of regional cultural inheritance and commercial district environment construction,and explores the feasibility of artistic expression and design strategy of extracting regional culture andregional culture from public art.
