With the acceleration of urbanization and the improvement of motorization,the number of the motor vehicles is increasing year by year,which leads to rising pressure of the Urban transportation system.The historic district,in special geographical areas of cities,which are faced with problems such as low density of internal road network,insufficient parking supply and low level of public transport services.At the same time,the protection of historical district often restricts the development of transportation which is difficult for the government to solve the traffic problems through large-scale construction of transport facilities.Therefore,how to coordinate the development relationship of the historical urban transport system and realize the maximization of the overall service capacity of the system has become an important issue which is worth studying.The coordinated development of the transportation system in the historical district is affected by many factors.The traffic transfer connection system is a key link that affects the coordinated development of all transportation systems.This paper focuses on the research on the impact of traffic transfer connection system on the coordinated development of the traffic system in the historical district.The capacity and accessibility of the transportation system are selected as the indicator of the overall service capability of the traffic system to evaluate the coordinated development level of the traffic system in the historic district.Based on the above analysis,this research studies allocation optimization methods of transfer connection system.The specific research of this paper is as follows:Firstly based on the analysis of the main traffic characteristics of the historical district,this paper analyzes the composition and the interrelationship of the transport system from different perspectives including dynamic-static traffic system,individual-public transport system,non-motorized-motorized traffic system,internal-external traffic system.This research discussed in terms of these relationships based on these aspects and the key points of the traffic coordination between different traffic components.Besides,the characteristics of the influence of traffic transfer connection system on the coordinated development of various traffic systems are also discussed.Secondly after researching the measurements and evaluation methods of traffic system capacity in historical district,the formation of traffic system capacity in the historic district is influenced by interaction of various traffic subsystem relations.After calculating individual traffic,public transportation,dynamic traffic and static traffic altogether,this paper proposes the measurement and evaluation method of total capacity of traffic system through considering the competitive,cooperative and limiting relationship of every transportation system.Finally,it takes Yangzhou historic district as an empirical study.Thirdly the measurement and evaluation methods of the accessibility of transport system in historical district is considered.On the basis of the comprehensive understanding of the current accessibility measurement methods and the cooperation and competition among the modes of transportation in the historical district,the accessibility index based on the transfer connection was established to evaluate the characteristics of the continuity of travel service.In that way we can evaluate the features of continuous travel.Taking the competing characteristics of public transport and individual modes of transport into consideration,this paper puts forwards difference index of traffic accessibility in historic district and its corresponding calculation method,which can be used to evaluate the cooperation and competition among transportation modes.Finally,it takes Yangzhou historic district as an empirical study.Fourthly the paper proposed optimized method of traffic transfer connection system configuration in historical district.This research establishes a model that can be used to optimize the configuration of transport in historical district with the aim of balanced development of historical district traffic system.The model considered the generalized cost of individual continuous travel and reflected the influence of traffic capacity limitation and traffic accessibility on route selection.The objective of the model is to minimize the total travel cost and optimize the configuration of transfer connection stations in historic district.Besides,genetic algorithm is used to solve the problem.Finally,an example is given to verify the applicability of the optimization method,which can provide guidance for the layout optimization of transfer connection stations in the historic district.
