Planning And Implementation Assessment And Proposing Solutions Of Public Service Facilities In Urban Communities In Urban Fringe

Public service facilities in urban communities are closely tied to citizens in urban areas,in addition to being an important component of the central government to propel quality urbanization whilst being integral to urban planning,especially detailed regulatory planning.The capacity of a city is constantly being redefined as a result of fast-paced urbanization,and thereby it prompts urban fringe areas,which are the frontier of development exploration,to be a critical connection to future development.Given that public service facilities are limited public welfare resources,they should be able to adapt to the unique demographic structure and development patterns of urban fringe areas,so as to lay a qualified foundation for their sustainable development.This project takes the example of the neighborhood of Guoxiang,Wuzhong District,Suzhou,through site investigation,data analysis,interviews,etc.,to conduct a comparative study with current regulatory planning along with state and local building code of residential areas;from both macro-and micro-perspectives,and from both service level and capability,to establish an evaluation system of public service facilities,thus proposing solutions and countermeasures.In consequence,this project aims to expand the study and solutions of one case into generalized constructive suggestions for the healthy development of urban fringe areas in the city of Suzhou.
