Research On The Characteristics Of Co-living Community

With the development of global economy,"sharing economy" has been applied many fields,Co-living community presents a more active community atmosphere and close neighborhood relationship than traditional residential community.This paper mainly explores which characteristics are different from the traditional way of living,reflecting the changes of the contemporary way of living.Through a large number of case studies,this paper summarizes the main characteristics of the co-living community and verifies and supplements them through the investigation of the domestic co-living community.Finally,it puts forward the reference significance for the traditional residential community.This paper first puts forward the definition of "co-living" through the analysis of the sharing economy.Then,through literature review,this paper combs the historical evolution track of co-living and analyses how the sharing economy affects and promotes the co-living in today's era.After that,the article puts forward two modes of co-living community:centralized and scattered community,and three core characteristics:space,society and life.Then,based on the empirical investigation of two cases in Beijing,this paper verifies the characteristics of the co-living community proposed above.Finally,the paper puts forward the reference significance for the traditional residential community:to increase the functional mixing of space,to design the space environment to promote communication,and to enhance the quality of space,so as to enhance the ownership and identity of the community.
