The guide sign is the core component of the traffic guidance system,the continuous guide sign information can guide the driver to choose a reasonable and effective route during the travel process,reduce the circuitous traffic flow and improve the operational efficiency of the road traffic network.Therefore,aiming to realize quantitative analysis and optimization of the guide sign information continuity,this paper proposes the continuous quantitative analysis model of the guide sign system and the continuous optimization model for a single identified object,and build a framework of information continuity analysis and optimization algorithm.Firstly,the paper discusses the road sign information of the city road network,explains the type and level division of the guide sign information,and points out the common problems of the current guide sign information.Taking the driver as the research object,the driver's interpretation of the guide sign information is interpreted by the cognitive characteristics of the driver's choice path and the cognitive analysis of the driver's visual features.Secondly,reviews the previous studies on the interpretation and analysis of the continuity of the guidance information,combined with the system engineering knowledge to redefine the multi-level guidance system information continuity.Taking the regional road network guidance information system as the research object,considering the way the information characteristic,network structure and the driver factors,from the macro,meso and micro level analysis of the way the continuity of system information,the continuous quantified indicators of different levels of system,frequency information items,regions,azimuths,paths and nodes are proposed,and the continuous quantitative model of the guide sign system is constructed.The driver's psychological expectation is constructed by considering the features of the information items of each node in the path,and the condition of road and traffic facilities,and that is the node continuity.Spatial clustering analysis is used to identify the radiative orientation of the information item of the identified object.In view of the single identified object,the index factors such as information item coefficient and additional coefficient that need to be considered in the process of information continuity optimization are proposed,and the continuous optimization model is established.Thirdly,the basic mathematical description of road network and guide sign information,to establish the road network and guide sign model,to lay the foundation for the preprocessing,quantitative calculations and information optimization of guide sign information continuity.The data structures such as the guide sign information table,the link information table,the information item and node relationship table are designed to store the guide sign information,the road network information,the guide sign and road network associated data.The macroscopic,mesoscopic and microscopic pretreatment methods of continuity of the guide sign system are proposed,the macroscopic level includes the traversal and classification of the frequency of guiding information item;the middle level includes the identification of the starting and ending points of guiding information items and the judgment of their orientation;at the micro level,the reasonable path set is determined by taking into account such factors as impedance,capacity,and heterogeneity.The continuity quantization algorithm and the continuity optimization algorithm of single identified object is established.Finally,taking the guidance information system of the road network in Yuzhong district of Chongqing as an application case,the multi-level continuity of the system was quantitatively evaluated,and a single marked object was used to optimize the layout of the guiding signs.The case shows that the model algorithm can better realize the quantitative evaluation of the continuity of guide sign information,and the continuous optimization algorithm for a single identified object can also provide reference for the subsequent research on the optimization of guide sign information.
