Pedestrian traffic is an important part of urban road traffic system.Urban signal control crosswalk is a typical representative of pedestrian traffic. When the signal distribution is short,it can't meet the needs of pedestrians crossing the street. If the signal timing is long,it is easy to cause vehicle delays and other problems.Based on the perspective of human factors, this paper studied the speed characteristics of pedestrians crossing the street in the crosswalk of the signal control, hoping to provide certain theoretical basis and data support for the formulation and optimization of signal timing norms. In this paper, pedestrians in the real environment of signal control crosswalks were selected as experimental research objects.Based on SONY HDR-CX405 video recorder, image processing and video tracking method, relevant parameters such as natural crossing condition, random crossing condition, pedestrian attribute and pedestrian position were respectively collected to carry out the following research:1)Univariate analysis of variance and control variable method were used to analyze the influencing factors of different pedestrian crossing behaviors.Firstly, through mathematical statistics,it can be known that the pedestrian violation rate in this paper is 55.4%,among which the time violation rate is 59.4%.The correlation analysis method was used to analyze the influencing factors of different pedestrian crossing behaviors. The results showed that men were more likely to commit time violations; With the increase of age,the tendency of time violation increases. The length of crosswalk, the nature of land use and the type of intersection have an impact on the selection behavior.Increasing the width of crosswalk and setting green light flashing can respectively reduce the spatial and temporal violation rates.2)Statistical analysis and correlation analysis were used to explore pedestrian crossing speed characteristics who is in accordance with regulations.According to the velocity distribution characteristics, the 15% fractional velocity in this paper is 1.2m/s,which is consistent with the current signal timing design speed. In addition, the correlation between gender and speed is small, and age has a significant effect on speed. The velocity distribution models of different land use properties can providetheoretical support for crosswalk signal timing.Pedestrians' attention to their mobile phones significantly reduced walking speed, while older people increased walking speed when walking with children across the street.By analyzing the response characteristics of the actual speed and the instantaneous demand speed,it is found that the correlation between the actual walking speed and the instantaneous demand speed of pedestrians in the early stage of the green light is weak, and the former always approaches to the instantaneous demand speed in a certain form in the rest of the time.3)Based on the speed variation characteristics of illegal pedestrians controlled by different interference levels,a step model of illegal pedestrians' speed was established, and a differential detection algorithm was proposed to determine the speed distortion of illegal pedestrians.Considering the length of crosswalk, current speed, speed demand and vehicle state, etc.,the model of instantaneous speed variation prediction(constant speed, acceleration and deceleration)for illegal pedestrians was constructed, and the test results showed that the prediction accuracy remained at a high level.
