The endurance of tire has a decisive influence on the safety of the tire,although many scholars have tried various methods to evaluate the life of tires,there is still no uniform standard.Currently,most studies on tire life do not consider the influence of temperature,but the temperature has a great impact on the life of the tire.Wheel hub motor drive technology is a new driving technology and it has many advantages.Motor in hub will generate heat,and the structure of the electric wheel is very compact,which could make the tire at a higher temperature than normal tire,and the higher temperature will affect the life of tire.In this paper,the research object is a wheel hub motor driven tire,the purpose is to calculate tire life and compare the effect of temperature on life.The constitutive test,dynamic mechanical test and Thermal performance test were performed to got some important parameters.Then,ABAQUS software was used to establish the tire finite element model in order to calculate the deformation of tire,stress distribution and steady-state temperature in different conditions.The rubber endurance test machine was designed and built,the durability tests of different temperature of rubbers were carried out,and the rubber's fatigue models were built.Finally,Fe-safe software was used to analysis the life of tire and find the dangerous point in tire.Tire fatigue test was performed and the reliability of the method described in this paper was proved by experiments.
