Based on the rapid development of contemporary society under the background of globalization,as a result of ecological deterioration,the landscape homogeneity and a series of problems,this article from the perspective of landscape architecture in landscape as the breakthrough point,to explore the formation mechanism of traditional regional landscape and the main components of regional landscape system,to understand the uniqueness of China's regional landscape,protection,inheritance and development of the national rich geographical landscape resources is of great significance,to provide reference for the sustainable development of urban and rural planning and construction at the same time.After a long period of interaction between human and nature,hangjiahu plain has formed a representative regional landscape pattern.Hangzhou,the second-generation capital city on the southern edge of the plain,has been built and built by water since ancient times.Considering the maturity of regional development and practical application value,this paper takes hangzhou area in hangjiahu plain as an example to carry out basic research,mainly including hangzhou area enclosed by three important river systems,namely dongtiaoxi,xinkai canal and qiantang river.The formation of regional landscape is inseparable from the natural base and the role of human beings.Through historical documents,ancient maps,and historical mapping records,combined with a large number of research results of contemporary scholars,the natural landscape relationship of the study area is summarized,and the historical changes of regional landscape are studied from three aspects:water conservancy construction,agricultural production,and urban development.According to the main river system of the study area and the topographic conditions,the regional landscape system was divided into five parts:tiaoxi,canal,xixi,west lake and coastal.Through the stratified analysis of the natural,water conservancy and agricultural settlement systems in each region,the mutual relationship between each system and the display of landscape characteristics were explored,and the commonness of regional landscape and the influencing factors of each region were summarized.Taking hangzhou city as a small-scale example of urban research,this paper analyzes the landscape relationship of hangzhou city,studies the influence of predecessors on the formation of urban landscape pattern by the west lake,qiantang river and the construction of canals inside and outside the city,and discusses the regional landscape characteristics of hangzhou city in the early period of the republic of China.Based on the in-depth understanding of the regional landscape,the protection and development strategies of the traditional regional landscape were proposed.The typical water conservancy unit yuhang south lake in the research plot was taken as an example to carry out the design practice.According to local conditions,the regional landscape into the park system can be involved;In advance planning,the regional landscape as a solid foundation for orderly regional development.
