As the technical equipment and management ability continuously advancing,along with the application of multiple new technologies meantime,automatic operation system,cloud technology,and Internet payment,recognized as the inevitable development direction of rail transit construction,have been studied and implemented in many national urban rail construction projects.Based on the first phase of Taiyuan Rail Transit Line 2 Project,simultaneously combined with other advanced technologies applied home and abroad,this paper mainly studies urban-rail-cloud-basing automatic operation technology.Firstly,by emphasizing the necessity of the application of automatic operation system and urban rail cloud technology and combing the domestic and foreign research status,the paper sums up the technical advantages of automatic operation system that the traditional model could barely fulfill:1)Higher security and reliability.2)Lower operation cost led by a full-life-cycle investment arrangement on the equipment system.3)Optimizing the allocation of human resources and reducing the labor intensity of operators.4)Full coverage of automatic protection in train operation.On the other side,because of its inferior network management,complicated configuration,and separate system setting,the business-used computer can cause notable inconveniences to the operation,maintenance and management of Metro mechanical and electrical equipment system.Hence,it’s advisable to adopt cloud computing to build an integrated urban rail cloud platform.The virtualization technology that can take full advantage of computing and storage resources would greatly improve the efficiency of resource utilizing and reduce the hardware configuration capacity.In the second part,the paper expounds on the""cloud"’technology which Taiyuan Metro intends to adapt to its Automatic Train Operation System.As a start,a physical deployment architecture based on the actual situation of the project is proposed.By cataloging different working branches according to their respective characters,the network(safe production network,internal management network,external service network)and the level(central-station)of the deployment are determined so as to complete the overall arrangement of the services on the cloud platform.On this foundation,a further study of the cloud platform’s interface is carrying on by analyzing each system’s distinctive feature.Then in the next step,in the light of a thorough study of the architecture of each subsystem,ISCS comes to the final winner among all the monitoring systems.With cloud technology,the subsystems deployed in the urban rail cloud can be reasonably configured so that different information produced during the whole operating process could be organized,distributed and shared in real time.As a result,the overall intelligence level of Taiyuan Metro Line 2 would be greatly improved.At present,having passed the experts evaluation,this research program has already come into implementation.The research work of the above schemes could play an important guiding role for the upcoming equipment bidding and implementation.
