The number of tractors in China has generally maintained a growth trend, and a large number of tractors consume a large amount of diesel resources.Managers of large farms or agricultural cooperatives often need to monitor the real-time fuel consumption of tractors to achieve effective regulation, energy conservation and emission reduction. For a long time, the fuel consumption of tractor has been mainly monitored by observing the balance of the fuel gauge, but its error is large, and real-time measurement cannot be performed. In response to this phenomenon, this project designed a real-time monitoring device of flel consumption for multi-cylinder diesel engines of tractors. The flow of the fuel pipeline and the return pipe is monitored by this device through the turbine flow sensor. After the measured data is converted by DTU,the data is transmitted to the server remotely through GPRS,and the upper computer downloads, analyzes, processes and displays the data to achieve the purpose of monitoring the fuel consumption of the diesel engine. Therefore, the manager can dynamically, comprehensively and accurately obtain the fuel consumption of the tractor from the back end.The test proved that the system could remotely monitor the fuel consumption of the tractor during operation and achieve the expected design goal.
