Research On The Public Space Renewal Design Strategy Of Old Communities

The development of residential buildings in China’s cities is in the stage of "stock update".With the improvement of people’s economic strength and quality of life,a large number of old communities built in the 1980s and 1990s are outdated,and their outdated design positioning can no longer satisfy the residents’ comfort.The requirements of the pleasant outdoor living space,the systematic update and optimization of the old community need to be resolved.Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing And Urban-rural Development put forward a "menu-style" old community renewal strategy,and tried to gradually carry out comprehensive rectification work for the old residential quarters in the city.However,public space as an important part of the renewal of old communities.Can the "menu-style" design items maximize the user’s actual needs,create a diverse living environment,and what systemic updates should be used by decision makers and designers?In order to achieve the goal of improving the quality of human settlements and reshaping the relationship between neighbors,it is the main in-depth discussion of the issues.Based on the relevant theoretical research,this paper analyzes the status quo and update direction of the old and old communities in the traffic road system,public activity space,landscape greening system and basic supporting facilities;Taking the Bajiao Nanli Community in Shijingshan District of Beijing as an example,using the methods of field visits and questionnaires to investigate the basic attributes of the public space of the community and the behaviors and psychological needs of the residents;using computer-assisted simulation,Phoenics and Ecotect Analysis software to carry out scientific numerical analysis of the wind and light environment of public space And using the Arcgis platform to coordinate the two and superposition analysis,obtain the visual evaluation results of the outdoor physical environment of the community in winter and summer,and use the quantitative and qualitative analysis methods to compare and supplement the "menu-style" update items;The systematic strategy of public space renewal in the old community,in order to provide some reference andreference for the update design of the public space of more old communities.
