The long-distance and large capacity power transmission systems put forward higher requirements for the stability of generators.As a new type of synchronous generator,dual excited turbo-generator(DETG)has outstanding ability of high stability and deep phase advance operation.It has been applied in Russia,Japan and other countries and achieved remarkable results.The research of DETG in our country has been mature in control theory.The main problem is that the large capacity DETG's parameters for power system simulation can only learn from foreign experience.The purpose of this thesis is to obtain a set of reliable and accurate parameters of 300MW DETG,and lay a foundation for the application of DETG in power system simulation.This thesis mainly studies the calculation of transient-and steady-state parameters of a DETG.The excitation control mode of DETG makes it different from traditional synchronous generator(TSG)in magnetic field distribution,transient-and steady-state parameters.In this thesis,a 300 MW DETG with orthogonal excitation windings is designed and the finite element model of DETG is established.The following research is carried out:1)The synchronous reactance of the single excitation and the dual excitation is compared and analyzed.The difference of synchronous reactance under load operation condition is analyzed.The change rule of synchronous reactance with power angle is studied.The difference of synchronous reactance when d-axis selected at excitation winding axis and excitation to synthesize magnetic field position.The results show that the synchronous reactance of DETG is quite different from that of the TSG.When the d-axis is selected at different locations,the regulations of synchronous reactance varies with the power angle are different.2)Three methods are applied to calculate the transient parameters of DETG.The influence of excitation control mode and saturation of magnetic circuit is analyzed.The results show that the D and Q axis transient parameters of DETG are same,and smaller than TSG's.The transient parameters of dual excitation are smaller than those of single excitation.3)The results of magnetic field analysis,calculation model of synchronous reactance and transient parameters are verified experimentally on the lOkW DETG model machine.
