On a global scale, the vast majority of the population relies mainly on fossil energy, which is destructive to the environment, traditional energy sources such as coal, oil, and natural gas.To develop clean alternative energy sources, many countries have begun to study renewable energy represented by wind energy and combine it with existing power generation systems.A hybrid power generation system is simulated to find a solution to solve the problem of excessive industrial load in Pakistan. The system has been implemented in the HOMER(Multiple Renewable Energy and Distributed Generation System)software package developed by the American National Renewable Energy Laboratory(NREL).The five system cases are analyzed:(1)wind energy-solar-hydro energy power generation system,(2)wind energy-water power generation system,(3)solar-hydro energy power generation system,(4)hydro-power system,(5)Grid system. The research shows that compared with the existing grid system, the grid-hydro-solar wind system reduced the electricity bill by 42.85%and reduced the energy consumption of the grid to 33.98%,so the system is the most economical. This system produces a high regeneration rate of 66%.The system can reduce the proportion of traditional energy sources in the grid by increasing the share of renewable energy, reducing the country's dependence on fossil energy, thereby reducing fossil economic effects. The system's power generation can not only increase GDP through exports, but also help solve Pakistan's energy shortage and promote Pakistan's industrial development and economic growth.
