The small size and high power density of the motor make it possible to carry two or more power sources on one vehicle.As one of the new configurations of pure electric vehicle multi-power source power system,dual-motor torque coupling drive system has better comprehensive performance than traditional single-motor single-reducer drive system.This paper took a SUV as the target vehicle,researched the parameter matching method of dual motor torque coupling drive system from the point of vehicle economy and power,and completed the simulation verification by using AVL CRUISE software.Firstly,this paper studied the driving principle,output characteristics,advantages and disadvantages of various drive systems,and made a comprehensive comparative analysis from the aspects of power,economy,ride comfort,difficulty and cost of driving system layout.The results showed that the comprehensive performance of dual motor torque coupling drive system was the best.Then,in order to enhance the comparability,this paper completed the single motor single reducer drive system parameter matching for the target vehicle.The parameters of the motor and transmission system were determined.Then,this paper completed the parameter matching of dual motor torque coupling drive system for the target vehicle.The principle of parameter matching of dual motors was put forward,and the main performance parameters of the drive motor were determined according to the economy of the whole vehicle.Based on the NEDC,the mathematical model of optimal design of transmission parameters was established,and the optimal gear number and corresponding transmission ratio of the transmission mechanism were determined by using improved harmony search algorithm.Finally,based on the matching results,the whole vehicle models of single motor single reducer pure electric vehicle and dual motor torque coupled pure electric vehicle were established respectively,and the simulation research was carried out from the dynamic and economic aspects.The results showed that the target vehicle could meet the design requirements under the two matching driving systems.Compared with single motor single reducer,the power and economy performance of the vehicle driven by dual motor torque coupling drive system had been improved to a certain extent.
