Evaluate Cambodia's Port Technical Efficiency A Data Envelopment Analysis Approach

Cambodia is a developing country that lacking behind in term of development,many aspects of the country is underdeveloped.This paper goal is to help improve Cambodia water transportation mainly it container port.In this paper we are going to compare and analyses Cambodia's ports(PPAP and PAS)to Tianjin port and Cambodia's neighboring countries.The methodology in this paper is DEA(data envelopment analysis),specifically a variation of DEA called DEA-CCR input oriented model.By using this research model,we can see if the port properly using its resources compare to other port,as well as what aspect of the port should be increased or decreased.Based on the analysis result we hope to find a way to improve Cambodia's ports efficiency and make recommendation for its next development.
